I am starting to give up on Beck and am putting more of my eggs in the chad henne bucket. I wouldnt mint him becoming the next Brady from M*ichigan. He still doesnt feel comfortable back there. Henne is impressing coaches with is poice and arm. With Ted Ginn having a good preseason it would be nice to see Henne to Ginn for years to come.
As many of you know I have a weird love affair with Ricky Williams. I try not to get too excited but I pray he has a healthy season. If he has that, nothing will stop him from being awesome. It will be nice to see 34 back in there. A small reminder of what was.....

Bill Parcells strike 1
I understand the whole rebuilding hin esp after a 1 win season but releasing Zach T was a huge mistake. Here we are, a miserable team that cant spell the word win let alone do it, and we cut the leader of our defense. The 2nd best player on the team that is the heart and soul of that defense. All good things come to an end but ZT had one more season we should have let him finish. You bring in all the young guys and the least you can do is keep a player that instills a great work ethic in some of the younger guys. This guy was a beast on the field and constantly watching film off the field. He is a class act and we could use more guys like that. Alan Cutler talked all day today about cincy acquiring him. Its pointless banter. Zack says he is goin to a superbowl contender which cincy never will be with mike brown plus the city blows. So let it go, it aint happenin guys.

Dolphins Win!!!!!
Miami finally won and i was quite elated to say the least. Finally they met a team willing to give them the game. It was a good xmas gift.
As I sit here with my best pal ont the planet, sophie, I cant help but wonder what position she would be if she played for the phins. And of a human too I suppose....
Wr- Pos-Great catching abilities and very quick. Has good endurance. Neg- Will always bring the ball back so is only good for td passes.
Rb-Terrible idea.
Special Teams-Best position for her. Kick the bll and she will tackle the kick returner!

bloggin
Sorry its been awhile but ricky getting hurttook a lot out of me. Last week we saw beck take a major step back. It is evident lemon gives us the best shot at winning so im sure he will start from hereon out. This weeks game is winable if the defense can hold up. Just a few things i wanted to get off my chest...
First- Why did we abandon the screen pass. We used it successfuly nearly every other play the first 8 games. The line is better pulling than it is pass blocking...
Second- Why isnt ginn used deep more often. His speed can beat even nfl players so i just try it!
Third- how bad is team that has no eceivers with more than one td? Even chambers had none when he was here!
Fourth- If we do use our pick in the draft, use it on mcfadden or dorsey.

Quick Post
I know all my loyal fans are waiting on a blog but I just cant right now. After a miserable season I finally had something to live for- Ricky. As you know he is already out foe the season. I am heartbroken and dont want to talk about it. I just hope that Rickys short stint will scare away any off season trades so he can be a dolphin next yr.
After the 4th cobsecutive good defemsive game I am confident in the defense again. This week its the jets at home. Dont be suprised if this is win number 1.

Next Week Pitt MNF
Last weeks showing was pretty poor by the offense. John Beck did lead Miami to the 1 yrd line however the running game failed to get in. There were som glimoses of Beck that made dolfans smile. He can definetly scrable to avoid pressure. The good thing is that he created no turnovers and did not get sacked by a great sacking defense. This week one would exoect a better performance considering he is no longer making his first start. The key for him first is to get his feet set and make the easy passes. He missed way too many of his short passes last week becasue he got rid of the ball too quickly. This week I hope to see a solid run game and for Beck to make the easy short passes. It's ok if he takes baby's steps as long as he improves. After Pittsburgh we play the New York Jests. Hopefully he will be composed enough and Ricky will be getting 10+ carries. If that happens, we may see a good game. Boring, but positive results.

Ricky Rantings
You all know how I feel about Ricky. I hope that Cam is planning on using him. I say throw him in on the shitty special teams. Make him prove he's committed--but please use him. If there's anything I believe in it is that Ricky will make some great plays for us. What we won't see this Sunday with Chatman is a huge run. Ricky provides us with that chance of breaking it off. Don't believe me? Tell it to the buffalo game in the snow back in dec 2003. Many runners would succeed behind our line right now. Ricky on Cams favorite screen plays. I picture magic. Of course if everything goes like the rest of the year, we won't see that.
When Ricky first retired I was totally heartbroken. He truly broke my heart. But just like a fat chick I kept coming back. I won't ever give up on him either. Once Marino was done, Ricky was it. We had just missed the playoffs and here comes Ricky. We invested so much hope that he was the tipping point to making us a great team. Meanwhile we were draffting ass clowns and not developing a line. Then 2003 rolls around and he ends with 1853 yrds and 17 tds. Went to he probowl and was pro bowl mvp. (From what i remember he had 2 tds and a forced fumble/recovery. Also to note were the games by the other 30 defensive probowlers.)
Off-season 2003-2004: With hopes placed on Ricky and newly aquired (2nd rnd raft pick, thanks Spielman) AJ Feeley.
Maybe I'm not a fat chick...Ok I'm a whale of a woman.
